Ratib Al-Hadad

Ratib al Haddad was taken from the name of the author, namely al Habib Abdullah bin Alwi bin Muhammad al Haddad (1055-1132 H.). From some of the prayers and dhikr that he composed, Ratib al Haddad is the most famous and famous. Ratib al Haddad was compiled based on inspiration, on the night of Laylat al-Qodar 27 Ramadan 1071 H.

Ratib al Haddad was arranged to fulfill the request of a student named Amir from the family of Bani Sa'ad who lived in Shibam, one of the villages in Hadramaut, Yemen. The aim of Amir was to ask Habib Abdullah to compose Ratib, so that a wird and dhikr be held in his village, so that they could defend and save themselves from the heresy that was engulfing Hadramaut at that time.
